DRIVING RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

All student vehicles driven and parked on school grounds must be properly registered with the school. Display current

parking permit on the BACK OF THE REAR VIEW MIRROR.

All driving students must be licensed and covered by insurance. The school is not responsible for the vehicles or their

contents.

Students are NOT to park in Staff parking lots or handicapped spaces, near Fugett Middle school or the bus drivers’

reserved areas.

Loitering in the parking lot or visiting cars during school hours will not be permitted without approval from an administrator.

Students are not to drive their vehicles from school grounds until the official end of the school day unless traveling to or

from their work study jobs.

Students are to abide by the speed limit of ten (10) miles per hour.

STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEND OR SELL THEIR PARKING PERMIT TO OTHER STUDENTS. STUDENTS

FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL BE SUSPENDED AND HAVE THEIR DRIVING PRIVILEGE REVOKED.

Students who reach ten (10) unexcused lates will have their driving privilege revoked for the remainder of the school year.

No refund will be made.

Violation of school parking/driving regulations may result in Saturday School. Three violations will result in the revocation

of parking permit for the remainder of the school year.

Following a snowfall, parking is more limited than normal. Students will be given explicit parking instructions over the

Public Address system and over WCOJ – 1420 radio station.
