IN RECENT NEWS...

April 27^th was Family Fun Night.  Over 150 people attended, including SWOOP, the Eagle’s mascot.  Everyone had a great time.  There was food  health exhibits and games with the YMCA.  At the end, there were many prizes and lots of healthy water ice.  We are grateful to all those who participated and all those that worked to make it happen.  Exton Elementary is lucky to get so  much community support for these events. 

The last big event of the year will be the Health Fair.  The Health Fair runs in conjunction with Field Day.  It is an entire day of doing healthy things for the students!  Chester County Hospital sponsors the event every year.  The students rotate through stations that deal with safety with bikes, ticks, sunscreen etc.  It should be a great day!

On Monday, we celebrated Academy Rewards.  Everyone had a great time getting ”the red carpet treatment!”   It truly was a Grape day! 

Go for the Greens on March 16^th was a great success despite the early dismissal due to the snow and ice.  First grade students made and wore their broccoli hats to lunch!   There was plenty of green food from broccoli to salad and even green grapes.  As you can see by the pictures,   the teachers also joined in the fun.  There were over 200 hundred shamrock toe tokens given out to those eating green.  Exton  definitely went for the Greens  never mind the white stuff coming down outside.
