Mrs. McCloskey received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from West Chester University with a minor in Art History.  She went on to receive her teaching certification from Millersville University.  On the weekends and during the summer months she enjoys teaching art at the Chester County Art Association in West Chester.  She was one of the 75 artists that participated in the Growing of the Arts program, which celebrated the 75^th anniversary of the CCAA.

 

Mrs. McCloskey paints furniture and currently has two pieces in the gallery Simple Pleasures in West Chester.  Two years ago she learned how to knit scarves and can’t stop making them!  Having gone through the West Chester Area School District herself, she is honored to be back in the school district as an art teacher.
