Dear Parents,

In the spring of 2007, the West Chester Area School District approved awarding high school credit for middle school students taking Algebra I, World Language, and Geometry. Therefore, effective for the 2007-08 school year, all 7^th and 8^th grade students currently enrolled in these courses will receive high school credit, which will be recorded on their high school transcripts at the end of the school year. Please understand that this is not an option as it was for last year’s students.
